Reading at Prairie Lights Books in Iowa City

Iowa_20City_202_original

I’ll be reading in Iowa City Friday, January 31st with Amanda Auerbach, who’ll be reading from her new book What Need Have We for Such as We. This reading will be a bit of a homecoming for me. The reading starts at 7pm, but I’ll be there earlier in the cafe, having a few beers to get my nerves up. Feel free to say hello before the reading.  If you’re able,  RSVP to the Facebook invite here.

Please come out to see Ohio Poet Laureate Dave Lucas and I read for the All We Have in Common series hosted by the Cincinnati Public Library at 6:30 on Jan 6th. AWHiC is curated by Cincinnati Poet Laureate Manuel Iris with the intention of “using the power of poetry to bring people of any social status, skin color, race, religion, sexual preference, nationality, or any other kind of diversity together on the basis of empathy and human understanding.” All in all, it will be a very laureate-dense evening. RSVP via Facebook here.
